Product Overview

A four-car model train set depicting a JR Shikoku 2000 Series formation with a non-gangway 2000-type Green Car combination. It reproduces the train’s appearance after updates made in the 2000s.

Features

  • Reproduces smaller door windows, metal side-window frames, extended exhaust pipes, renewed interiors, and the removal of the electrical couplers from the 2000 type.
  • Silver bodies with light blue stripes and yellow coloring on the front of the lead cars; differences in the silver tones of individual parts are also reproduced.
  • The “Nanpu” headmark is installed. Replacement headmarks for “Shimanto,” “Ashizuri,” and a blank design are included.
  • Slotless motor and KATO body-tilting mechanism for curves.
  • Headlights, taillights, and headmarks illuminate; includes an off switch and warm-white LEDs.
  • All cars have body-mounted close-coupler-style couplers without hooks. The front of the lead car has a dummy coupler; a coupling skirt and coupler for connection are included.
  • Destination display stickers are included.
  • Powered and illuminated by power supplied through the rails; batteries are not used. Batteries, fuel, and paint are not included.
