Red propolis is a naturally derived ingredient made from red sap collected by bees from Dalbergia ecastophyllum trees, which grow wild only in northeastern Brazil. Its supply is more limited than that of ordinary propolis, making it a precious ingredient. It contains more flavonoids and polyphenols than ordinary propolis.
