A henna-based hair treatment for caring for the hair and scalp and bringing out natural-looking shine. Henna has been used in India for approximately 5,000 years.
Ingredients
Indigo leaves, henna, Mallotus philippensis bark extract, cucumber fruit extract, HC Red 3, hibiscus.
How to Use
Add warm water at approximately 45°C to the henna powder and mix into a paste with a ketchup-like consistency. Allow it to cool to a temperature comfortable for application.
Thoroughly wet the hair and scalp. Apply hand cream or a similar product around the face to protect the skin.
Apply the henna to the hair and gently work it through. Apply generously to the scalp, taking particular care with gray areas.
Work plenty of henna into the hair at the back of the head.
Gather the hair on top of the head, wrap a turban around it, and cover with a plastic cap to keep the henna from drying out.
Press firmly to remove air and leave on for 1–3 hours.
Rinse out the henna thoroughly, then shampoo twice.
Suggested mixing amounts:
Short hair: approximately 30g henna with 120cc warm water.
Medium-length hair: approximately 50g henna with 200cc warm water.
Long hair: approximately 100g henna with 400cc warm water.
