How to Use

Use after preparing your skin with skincare. Press the dedicated puff against the cushion several times to pick up an appropriate amount. Gently pat outward from the high points of your cheeks. Use the foundation remaining on the puff to finish the forehead, eye area, nose and mouth area. For additional coverage, pick up a small amount and pat on another layer.

After use, lightly wipe any remaining foundation from the puff with a tissue. If it becomes difficult to pick up foundation, press the puff deeper into the cushion. If foundation is still difficult to pick up, the refill is finished. Using too little will not provide sufficient UV protection; use with a makeup primer or similar product that offers UV protection is recommended.

Always fit the refill into the separately sold HAKU Cushion Compact Case. With the refill lid closed, insert it into the case and align the triangular marks. Press down on the refill lid with both thumbs until it clicks into place. To remove it, open and hold the refill lid, then gently press the edge of the refill downward with your other hand. Take care not to splash the contents.

Close the case lid securely after use and keep the cushion area and puff clean. Avoid pressing the cushion too firmly, as the contents may overflow. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately. Stop use if it does not agree with your skin or if skin abnormalities appear after exposure to direct sunlight. Keep away from direct sunlight and high temperatures, and avoid contact with clothing, as stains cannot be removed.

Q: Is a case included?
A: No. The HAKU Cushion Compact Case is sold separately. A puff is included.

Q: How should I clean the puff?
A: Use the separately sold Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N, or gently press-wash it in lukewarm water with diluted neutral detergent. Rinse thoroughly, remove excess water and let it dry completely in the shade before use.
