How to Use

Use after preparing your skin with skincare. Press the dedicated puff against the cushion several times to pick up an appropriate amount. Gently pat from the high points of the cheeks outward. Use the foundation remaining on the puff to finish the forehead, eye area, nose, and around the mouth. For additional coverage, pick up a small amount and pat on another layer.

After use, lightly wipe any foundation remaining on the puff with a tissue. If foundation becomes difficult to pick up, press the puff deeper into the cushion. If it remains difficult to pick up, the refill is finished. Using too little will not provide adequate UV protection. Use with a makeup primer or similar product offering UV protection is recommended.

Always install the refill in the separately sold HAKU Cushion Compact Case. With the refill lid closed, insert the refill into the case and align the triangle marks. Press down on the refill lid with both thumbs until it clicks into place. To remove it, open and hold the refill lid, lightly hold the refill rim with your other hand, and slowly push downward. Take care not to splash the contents.

Keep the puff clean. To wash it, use the separately sold Shiseido Sponge Cleaner N or gently press-wash it in lukewarm water with diluted neutral detergent. Rinse thoroughly, remove excess water, and allow it to dry completely in the shade before use. Close the case lid securely after use, and do not press the cushion too firmly, as the contents may overflow.

Discontinue use if the product does not agree with your skin or if skin abnormalities appear after exposure to direct sunlight. If it gets into your eyes, rinse immediately. Avoid contact with clothing, as stains cannot be removed. Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
