How to Use

Perform a skin patch test before use and test the color on an inconspicuous section of hair, such as at the nape or behind the ear. Shampoo to remove styling products and oils, then towel-dry thoroughly.

Wearing gloves, apply evenly to the areas you wish to color. Work the product into the hair and distribute with a comb, using enough to cover the hair completely. Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap; warming with a hair dryer can enhance the conditioning effect.

Leave on for approximately 15–21 minutes, checking color development. Timing varies with hair texture and the color used. Rinse thoroughly afterward. Shampoo is generally unnecessary, but may be used if desired.

Use only on scalp hair. Avoid use on damaged or irritated skin, and discontinue use if redness, swelling, itching or irritation occurs. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water and seek advice from an eye specialist.

Protect hands, nails, clothing and surrounding surfaces from staining. Use a towel that can be stained for 2–3 days after coloring, and be aware of color transfer to clothing, hats and pillows, especially while hair is wet. Keep out of reach of infants and young children. Store away from extreme temperatures, high humidity, direct sunlight and fluorescent light. Use as soon as possible after opening.
