How to Use
The supplied Color Butter directions advise washing out styling products and oils with shampoo, then towel-drying thoroughly before application. Wear gloves and apply an appropriate amount evenly to the areas you wish to color, working it through with your hands and a comb. Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap; warming with a hair dryer can enhance the conditioning effect. Leave for approximately 15–36 minutes, checking the color as it develops and adjusting according to your hair and chosen shade. Rinse thoroughly. Shampoo is generally unnecessary afterward, but may be used if desired.
Rinse immediately if the product gets into your eyes. Stop use if redness, swelling, itching or irritation occurs, and consult a dermatologist if necessary. Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin. Keep out of reach of young children and store away from direct sunlight and extremely high or low temperatures.
