How to Use

• Perform a skin patch test before use and test the color on an inconspicuous area, such as the nape or behind the ear.
• Shampoo to remove styling products and oils, then towel-dry thoroughly.
• Wear gloves and apply evenly to the areas you want to color. Work the product into the hair and distribute it with a comb, using enough to cover the hair.
• Cover the hair with a shower cap or plastic wrap. Warming it with a hair dryer can enhance the conditioning effect.
• Leave on for approximately 15–24 minutes, checking the color as it develops. Timing varies with hair type and the color being applied.
• Rinse thoroughly. Shampoo is generally unnecessary, but may be used if desired.
• Use only on scalp hair. Avoid color transfer to skin, nails, clothing, surfaces, and bedding, especially when hair is wet. Use a towel that can be stained for 2–3 days after coloring.
• Stop use if redness, swelling, itching, irritation, or other skin abnormalities occur, and consult a dermatologist. If the product enters your eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water and consult an eye specialist.
• Keep out of reach of infants and young children. Store away from extreme temperatures, humidity, fluorescent light, and direct sunlight. Use as soon as possible after opening.
