Product Overview

Oral Care Home Gel is an orange-flavored dental gel containing stannous fluoride, intended for use at home after regular toothbrushing. This product is available through dental clinics and is made in Japan.

Features

  • Contains stannous fluoride.
  • Formulated without foaming agents to reduce foaming.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: stannous fluoride. Base: concentrated glycerin, water. Viscosity adjuster: carboxyvinyl polymer. Preservative: parabens. Sweetener: xylitol. Solvent: propylene glycol. pH adjuster: sodium hydroxide. Flavoring agent: flavoring.

How to Use

Brush your teeth as usual first. Then place Home Gel on a toothbrush and brush gently to distribute it over all teeth.

The recommended total daily amount is 1g (approximately 2cm). For children aged 3–6 years, use 0.5g (approximately 1cm) per day. For children aged 6 months to under 3 years, use 0.25g (approximately 0.5cm) per day. These amounts are calculated from daily fluoride intake recommendations from the American Dental Association and other organizations.

If using twice a day, use half the daily amount each time; if using three times a day, use one-third each time. For young children who cannot yet spit, apply to the tooth surfaces using gauze or a cotton swab.

After use, spit lightly without rinsing. Avoid rinsing, eating, or drinking for 30 minutes.
