How to Use

Before use, bleach hair to a very light shade with no remaining yellow tones. Always perform a patch test and test the color on an inconspicuous section, such as at the nape or behind the ear.

Shampoo to remove styling products and oils, then towel-dry thoroughly. Wearing gloves, apply evenly to the areas you wish to color. Work the product into the hair and distribute with a comb, using enough to cover the hair completely.

Cover with a shower cap or plastic wrap. Warming with a hair dryer can enhance conditioning. Leave on for approximately 15–33 minutes, checking color development; timing varies with hair type and the color being applied. Rinse thoroughly. Shampoo is generally unnecessary afterward, but may be used if desired.

Use only on scalp hair. Protect hands, nails, clothing and surrounding surfaces from staining. For 2–3 days after coloring, use towels that you do not mind staining. Color may transfer to clothing, hats or pillows, especially when hair is wet.

Do not use on damaged or irritated skin. Stop use if redness, swelling, itching or irritation occurs, and consult a dermatologist. If the product enters the eyes, rinse immediately with water or lukewarm water and seek advice from an eye specialist. Keep out of reach of young children. Store away from extreme temperatures, high humidity, direct sunlight and fluorescent light. Use as soon as possible after opening.

Q: How does the starting hair color affect the result?
A: Yellow tones remaining in the hair can produce a milk-tea-like shade rather than silver. Brown hair shows almost no color change. Results vary considerably with the starting color, brightness, hair type and degree of damage.
