A transparent, 7-micron polyurethane film roll that can be cut to the desired size. It is designed for securing gauze and pads, fixing tubes, and providing waterproof coverage. The film is unsterilized; do not apply it directly to catheter insertion sites or wounds.
Features
The flexible film follows body movement and stretches gently, with a feel described as almost like wearing no tape. Individual experiences may vary.
The waterproof film adheres closely to the skin and is designed to resist coming off during bathing or showering.
The “Fuwari Gel” adhesive is described as low-irritation and less likely to lift the skin’s outer layer when removed.
Uses include securing gauze or pads, fixing tubes, waterproofing during bathing or showering, waterproofing the area where an ostomy appliance is attached, and covering and protecting skin as part of pressure sore care.
