Wella Color Studio Hair Color in Cocoa Brown is a two-part oxidative hair color with a rich, deep brown shade and a glossy finish. This cream-type color is Step 2 of Wella's three-step coloring system and is classified as a quasi-drug in Japan.

Ingredients

Part 1 — Active ingredients: Toluene-2,5-diamine sulfate, p-aminophenol, resorcinol, m-aminophenol, 5-amino-o-cresol.

Part 1 — Other ingredients: Propylene glycol, ammonia solution, dicetyl phosphate, POE cetyl ether phosphate, cetearyl alcohol, POE stearyl ether, xanthan gum, anhydrous sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, edetate salts, ascorbic acid, anhydrous sodium sulfite, sodium hydroxide, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate solution, fragrance, purified water.

Part 2 — Active ingredient: Hydrogen peroxide solution.

Part 2 — Other ingredients: Cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, POE cetostearyl ether, salicylic acid, disodium hydrogen phosphate, hydroxyethane diphosphonic acid solution, phosphoric acid, purified water.

How to Use

Read the enclosed instructions carefully before use. Apply the separately sold pre-color treatment. Place Part 1 and Part 2 in a mixing bowl, mix thoroughly with a comb brush, and apply evenly. The bowl and brush are sold separately. Leave for 20–30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Wella Color Studio Shampoo and Conditioner, sold separately, are recommended.

Safety: Hair color may cause an allergic reaction. Perform a skin allergy test (patch test) before every use. Do not use if you have ever experienced a reaction to hair color. Avoid contact with eyes and do not use on eyebrows or eyelashes. Do not use on young children. Keep out of children's reach and store away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.

FAQ

Q: Does this color cover gray hair?
A: This product is intended for black hair. It only lightly tints gray hair and does not conceal it.

Q: Can it lighten hair previously dyed dark?
A: No. It cannot lighten hair that has been dyed dark with hair color or similar products.

Q: Will the finished shade always look the same?
A: Results vary depending on the original hair color, hair characteristics, room temperature, and processing time. Color may fade more quickly on bleached hair.
