Product Overview

Wella Color Studio Hair Color in Pearl Brown is a two-part cream hair color with a softly lustrous, cool brown shade. It is Step 2 of the Wella Color Studio three-step coloring system and is classified as a quasi-drug in Japan. Made in Thailand.

Ingredients

Part 1 — Active ingredients: Toluene-2,5-diamine sulfate, resorcinol, m-aminophenol, 2,4-diaminophenoxyethanol hydrochloride.

Other ingredients: Propylene glycol, ammonia solution, dicetyl phosphate, polyoxyethylene cetyl ether phosphate, cetearyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene stearyl ether, xanthan gum, anhydrous sodium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, edetate salts, ascorbic acid, anhydrous sodium sulfite, sodium hydroxide, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate solution, fragrance, purified water.

Part 2 — Active ingredient: Hydrogen peroxide solution.

Other ingredients: Cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polyoxyethylene cetostearyl ether, salicylic acid, disodium hydrogen phosphate, hydroxyethane diphosphonic acid solution, phosphoric acid, purified water.

How to Use

Read the enclosed instructions carefully before use. Apply the pre-color treatment (sold separately). Place Part 1 and Part 2 in a mixing bowl (sold separately), mix thoroughly with a comb brush (sold separately), and apply evenly. Leave for 20–30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Wella Color Studio Shampoo & Conditioner (sold separately) are recommended afterward.

Hair color can cause allergic reactions. Perform a skin allergy test (patch test) before every use. Do not use if you have ever experienced a reaction to hair color. Avoid contact with eyes, and do not use on eyebrows, eyelashes, or young children. Keep out of reach of young children and store away from high temperatures and direct sunlight.

FAQ

Q: Does this cover gray hair?
A: This product is intended for black hair. It lightly colors gray hair but does not cover it.

Q: Can it lighten hair previously dyed dark?
A: No. It cannot lighten hair that has been darkened with hair color.

Q: Will the finished color always look the same?
A: Results vary depending on the original hair color, hair characteristics, room temperature, and processing time. Color may fade more quickly on bleached hair.
