How to Use
Preparation: Remove all water and ice from the ice maker. Remove the water purification filter according to your refrigerator’s instruction manual. Some models do not have a filter.
Cleaning: Add 300ml of water and 100ml of cleaner to the water tank, mix well, and run the ice-making cycle. If there is insufficient liquid for ice production, add more water and cleaner mixed at a 3:1 ratio. Attach the included “Cleaning in Progress” sticker to the ice storage drawer. When the tank is nearly empty, rinse it with water and discard the pink ice.
Rinsing: Reinstall the filter if it was removed. Fill the water tank with water and run the ice-making cycle. Repeat until pink ice is no longer produced; approximately one or two full tanks of water are needed. Discard all ice made during rinsing, thoroughly wash the ice storage container, and put it back.
Rinse immediately after cleaning, as leaving the cleaner for an extended time may cause damage or discoloration. Do not eat the pink ice or rinsing ice, or use it for any other purpose. If sourness remains even after the ice becomes clear, rinse again.
