After shampooing, towel-dry your hair. Wear gloves and apply an appropriate amount evenly to the areas you want to color. Work the product into the hair and use a comb to distribute it thoroughly. Covering the hair with a shower cap or plastic wrap enhances the conditioning effect. Leave on for approximately 15–20 minutes, checking how the color develops. For a less intense color, you may rinse after about 5 minutes.
